 I will provide a schedule in class. You will be graded on three things:

1. The quality of your presentation on a person who had power. You can choose a person by yourself or you can use one of my suggestions: Shaka Zulu, Cyrus the Great, Bill Clinton, Lee Kuan Yew, The Emperor Augustus, J. Robert Oppenheimer, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, Wang Mang, Otto Von Bismark, Andrew Carnegie, Wu Zetian, Zenobia, Angela Merkel, Theodore Roosevelt
    

   In this presentation, you should explain three things. a) How the leader achieved power. b) How the leader succeeded in their use of power. c) How the leader failed in their use of power. d) What a teacher can learn from the leader. I strongly suggest you go to the library and find a book about the leader you choose.

2. The quality of feedback you give to the other group members. 
3. The quality of your written, 500 word plan for the following scenario: You are leading a class with major problems. One girl cries 5 or 6 times a class and also whenever you speak to her. One boy insults you multiple times per class. None of the students do their homework and many sleep during class. How can you fix this situation? The essay is not due for several more weeks.
